VOLCANOES – PHOTOGRAPHED FROM THE AIR

STROMBOLI

Stromboli rises 900m above the sea level. It is a volcano with the two thirds of its 3000m high mass under by the sea. Its ever active craters are situated a little beneath its peak. There are two small villages nested at its foot along the coastline.
