This glacier flows down from the rugged mountains of Liverpoolland to the sea. Its tongue floats on the sea water. The glacier is retreating as the moraine debris on its edges accrues. There is not much scientific knowledge concerning the glaciers of remote East Greenland. Scientists of the GlobGlacier Project from the ESA, the European Space Agency, are just inventorying and measuring the ice masses, utilizing satellite images.
