In Germany, one of the most densely populated countries in Europe, it is almost impossible to find areas untouched by man. And yet, Bernhard Edmaier has managed to discover many stretches of land of great beauty - from national parks on the coast, lake districts of eastern and southern Germany to the Alps. He made a book of these images in co-operation with Dr Angelika Jung-Hüttl, the author of the text, geologist and a science writer. This site contains a wide range of photos from the book.
